Welcome Letter

Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the BGCS, I would like to invite you to our Annual Scientific Meeting taking place in Liverpool from 13 - 14 November 2008.

The Organising Committee has been working hard to put on a high quality meeting which will provide the expected blend of education and socialising that has been consistently enjoyed by as many of you at the BGCS meetings over the years.

The scientific programme will be a mix of authoritative presentations by speakers from the UK and overseas, with topics ranging from clinical practice to the latest scientific thoughts from across a number of relevant disciplines. I hope as many of you as possible will submit abstracts for oral presentation or poster display.

The new state of the art conference centre, accommodation and the conference dinner are all within a few minutes walk of each other and situated on the world famous Liverpool Waterfront.

We do have plenty of capacity and can promise a warm welcome and a really good conference. Liverpool has a lot to offer as European Capital of Culture for 2008.
