Dates:

The Congress will be held from Thursday, 13 November to Friday, 14 November 2008.

Venue:

Arena and Convention Centre Liverpool is a unique, purpose built meetings facility that consists of 3 auditoriums, 18 breakout rooms and a 3725 m2 multi-purpose hall. The latest technology combined with innovative design means that the event experience is exceptional and your delegates will want to come back for more.

How to get there?

By Bus

The City Centre Circular Route S1 links Lime Street railway station with Queen Square Bus Station, the Albert Dock, ACC Liverpool and other central tourist attractions. Route S1 operates every 10 minutes every day.

By Plane

Flying to John Lennon Airport - taxi to the City Centre will take approximately 20 minutes, or a bus will take approximately 40 minutes.

Climate
Liverpool gets plenty of rain between July and January but the real winter season, when temperatures fall to 4°C (40°F), is November through to February.

Time Zone
Liverpool Standard Time is 2 hours behind of Greenwich Mean Time.

British Pounds (GBP)

Credit Cards /Cash:
Major credit cards including American Express, Diners, MasterCard, and Visa are accepted in large hotels, car rental companies and major stores. You will need cash  to pay for taxi fares.

Banks:
Banks are open Monday to Friday 9:30 - 17:00. Saturday and Sunday closed.
